Marriage Certificate

I have been married for past 6 years. But my marriage is still not registered. I need a marriage certificate for visa formality to some country. I got married in Delhi and presently i am in chennai. Its not possible for me to go to delhi for this purpose. Can i do court marriage with my wife in chennai and get the marriage certificate here? If yes how to go about?

NO, YOU BOTH R ALREADY MARRIED.GET UR CERTIFICATE FROM DELHI.

Register the same at delhi itself with documentary proof like marriage invitation, marriage ceremony performed by whom etc. It is a valid certificate.

I do agree with both of my friends. But there is one more option that u can got to the registrar of concerned area at Chennai & file a joint application for ur marriage reagistration explaining the date & place of marriage & all fact. Plz do mention about the issues born out of your wedlock.

DEar Ajit,
You are alredy married, then why the marriage again.
You may register your existing marriage at Chennai and get a Certificate for VISA purpose.
Rakhi Mam. is absolutely right in saying so.
