Are they entitled to the Insurance payments?

A citizen of India Married a Russian woman and they settled there in Russia with two children.Then the husband died accidently and he has an Insurance policy(Indian Postal Department) Are the wife and children entitled to it?

Dear Shine,
As I know Postal Life Insurance (PLI), introduced life insurance scheme for the benefit of Government employees, employees of the civil and military personnel of the central and state governments, local bodies, government aided educational institutions, universities, nationalized banks, many autonomous and financial institutions, and public sector undertakings of the central and state governments.
So pls. tell us first about the plan/policy under question.

well we dont know who were the nominies there in the contract.

but in my opinion if the relationship of wife and children is proved then there must be no hesitation in providing them with the insurance money.

recently there was judgment of Hon'ble SC to the extent that even if wife is not a nominee in the insurance contract, still she can not be denied the benefits of the insurance contract.
