Take the permission from the Asst., commissioner of your Dist., to purchase the agrl., land. Even in your family if anybody has worked as agrl., coolie then also you can purchase the agrl., land without the permission of AC.

Unless you are an agriculturist or an agriculture labourer and your income is less than Rs. 2 lakh per annum, you cannot readily purchase an agricultural land. However, if you do not fulfill these conditions, yet it is possible to purchase an agricultural land by giving an undertaking that you are going to carry on agricultural activity in the land for a minimum prescribed period and for this you need to contact local tahsildar.
