My friend met with an accident while driving my bike.Fir was filed on him on charge of rash driving.I would love to take up civil service exams in the future.so will it affect me in anyways?

No it will not affect you in any way. He should be having a valid licence and the injured people can file a accident claim in court and the money will be paid through insurance that you have done on the bike.

Loving to take civil services exam is a separate thing, first of all you have the need to clarify whether you are also a party to the case as per the charge sheet and whether your insurance policy is comprehensive or a third party policy?

As long as FIR is pending he should not hope to get job as peon in govt unless acquitted ON MERIT and not on technical grounds or benefit of doubt or

The insurance policy is relevant only in MACT case. Valid insurance is not a guarantee of acquittal
