Service providers agreement

Dear Sir / Madam,

Our company having it's registered office in Mumbai is the receipient of certain services, whereas the service provider of the said services is a company registered in Delhi.

The place of execution of the service providers agreement, the governing laws and jurisdiction shall be Mumbai or Delhi?

You should watch your interest and insert Mumbai in the agreement.

As per law jurisdiction for execution of agreement lies both the places but for your convenience and interest,insert Mumbai in agreement.

Since both the courts have jurisdiction to try the dispute, if you can mutually agree on either of the said two cities.

Stamps are to be purchased from Mumbai.

I agree with the experts views on the subject that since the execution will be at Mumbai, the jurisdiction can be mentioned as Mumbai and for the purpose the stamp duty will be paid as per Maharashtra Stamps act.
