If the case is civil then the meaning for P shall be plaintiff and No PW means -No witness from the side of plaintiff.

Dear Sir,
It normally means plaintiffs witness or prosecution witness not present as such the case is adjourned further for the purpose of adducing evidence by plaintiff’s side/prosecution side.

No PW is present means the prosecution witness is absent, hence the case is posted for evidence i.e., prosecution witness evidence on the next date of hearing.
