I am Chairman. I resign in Feb. 18. Now other people are saying I cont get clearing letter. I will have to wait till two and half years.
I was chairman only for 4 months
I WORKED AS A CHAIRMAN FOR THREE MONTHS ONLY.

under what consideration whether for salary or honorary?. Furnish details like nature of duty, class of entity, etc.,

If you were elected and worked as an Honorary Chairman, all you have to do is to tender your resignation in writing and submit it to the Secretary along with all the articles of the Society. If, however, you were getting monetary compensation for the post of the Chairman you may have to answer to the Managing Committee, to their satisfaction, before your resignation is accepted.

Be sure and specific whether you worked for 3 months or 4 months you have mentioned two different periods.
Prima facie it is a timepass question paper.
However, if there is some truth in the story consult a local prudent lawyer for proper analyses, guidance and proceeding.
