Vague query.
You are "complainant" in a contempt case, are you sure?
Dr J C Vashista (Expert) 12 November 2017
Are you an employee of government/ authority where you have stated to have been "threatened" and offered "bribe" to withdraw?? What do intend to communicate?
Dr J C Vashista (Expert) 12 November 2017
Instead of getting confused discuss with your lawyer or some other local prudent lawyer.

When already filed a complaint on contempt of court, as a complainant, do you believe that you have the power to decide whether there was contempt of the court or not? Also, do you or or your opponent believe that the court can be used merely as your tool to be used in whatever manner both of your would decide, specially about the court's honour and prestige?

If so, why not try to withdraw your complaint?

yes, i am the complainant in the said contempt case. The party who offered tbe bribe is a third party. certainly, he may get benefit if the case is withdrawn. And there was also low key threat to withdraw. specifications: Acvused are: ACP, SHO and Investigation officer of a registerec crime. B report (Final report) was submitted during the period of stay for investigation. As a result contempt was filed. The accused in the registered crime a beneficiary if the B report offered a cheque with a written condition to withdraw the contemot case. The fact of threat and offering is brought to the notice of hughcourt by way of memo quite long back.
