Dear Sir,
I'm working in a MNC in Gurgaon Office. This Company has the head Office & factory in Chandigarh.
our working hours in Gurgaon is
Monday to Friday 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM
Saturday 09:00 AM to 02:00 PM
Total Working Hours in a week is 50 Hours.
I want to know that is there any rule of Haryana govt. for maximum working hour in a week or per day.
this is a Regional Sales Office and all working staff is middle Level Management or Manager Level, there is no labour work or labour staff.
kindly share your knowledge regarding the Maximum working hours in gurgaon (Haryana)

Sir you may kindly refer your job offer acceptance and appointment letter and post held regarding terms and conditions of appointment .kindly refer factories act and Industrial disputes act and other relevent acts and agreements with your office employees union with office management if any for terms applicable to your post held. It should be 48 hrs per week subject to local law provisions pl.note

Subtract the break(s) from daily work hours and calculate again.

Designation alone does not decide coverage of employee by various enactments that apply to establishment,employee, employer.

Dear sir,
Actully our management want to make it 5 day working and we want to put the request to our MD that as per govt. Rule this is the maximum working hours and there is no need to work half day on saturday.
Our daily lunch break is 30minute

Practically there is no strict rules in private concerns regarding working hours. On papers all follow government instructions.
If not satisfied, may search another job. Having a good offer in hand may fight with the management on this issue.

Work hours=8/day,48hrs/week
Beyond which OT is applicable.
There is capping on OT hours.
5days/week is better option.
Remain flexible, amiable,gentle.
Rest go thru the above mentioned Act/Rules.

The employment offer letter would contain the timings of working as well as other rules pertaining to this issue, you may verify that because this offer was accepted only after going through all such conditions.
