Effectiveness of fir

Good day,

My daughter have filled FIR against her husband and his family domestic harassment and dowry issue. But yet after almost one month nothing has been done against them. What should be done for police inaction?

any suggestions will be highly appreciated.

meet higher officials of the police in this regard and even then if nothing fruitful happens then better to come to high court under section 482 of Criminal procedure code.
