Charges for cc account closer in hdfc

I have an cc account in hdfc bank for last ten YEARS. I have the limit of two crores. I want to close my account. The bank authority said that you have to pay 4%of limit amount if you want to close the account. What am I do?

Settle with HDFC, it is not a query involving legal issue and advise.

Refer the service charges / interest rates / charges for pre-closer of the account list of the Bank.

4% is very high, however, private Banks are charging high service charges in such conditions.

Refer the sanction conditions / agreements and other related documents to find how these charges can be saved in full and / or in part.

Better speak with the Bank Manager and also refer the Terms and conditions of the CC Account.

You may go through the documents containing the agreement in this regard, if you have signed the said condition after accepting it, you may have to honor it however as others suggested you may discuss with the manager to try your luck for reduction if any.
