Provident fund for security guard

(Querist) 07 June 2016 This query is : Resolved
In Karnataka, wages for the security guard has been revised for the year 2016-17.

The security guard's Provident Fund contribution has been increased to 2484 inr for both the shares.

There Basic salary has been revised to 10350 and VDA is 908.

I just want you to advice me whether or not we can deduct Provident Fund on the minimum wage. So that security guard can get a bit more in hand salary.

PF is applicable on wages as defined in the PF Act.

Raise the salary if you want to increase take home.
