what is rti application fees in Maharashtra

as per my knowledge old was Rs. 10/- whether any change in this fees ?

Put Rs. 10 Court fee stamp. Additionally certain authorities you can fill RTI online. Just check Govt of Maharashtra official website .

Click on Aaple sarkar logo in Marathi

Then next page will come with 4 box , one is rti .

Authorities in list mentioned you can file RTI online sitting in house , Payment of Rs. 10 by online debit card

Inital stage it was for Mantralaya , Now various local govt. too they have added and other authorities . You need to check.

Send fee of Rs. 10/- any increase would be demanded.

It is Rs.10/- and can be paid by Bank DD, Postal Order. There is no specific application for seeking information under RTI Act. You can send it by making an application of your own. Additional fee is to be paid depending upon supply of information in number of pages. The Public Information Officer will make a demand for such additional fee and you can pay it on demand from him.

Right to Information Act, 2005 is a central act which is applicable to all India and fees for an application is Rs. 10/-, I agree with experts.
