Seperation from wife

dear Sir
I want a advice
one of my freind is married 2 yrs back and have a baby now
but he is not happy with his married life so he lives apart from his wife from last 10 months.he is done customary marriage and still not registered his marriage in court.
now he want to marry a girl which he loved before marriage.so what he can do to make it simple for both .and issue occurred when he do this

Consult some local lawyer about divorce to his wife, as he cannot marry with another girl, untill legally separated from first wife by getting divorce.

He has married and now want to marry a girl whom he loved before thus trying to spoil 4 lives (Self, baby, wife and so called girlfriend).

He should try to be honest to his marriage and try to save it.

Without Divorce he can not marry again.
