dear Sir I wanted to know that if Govt employee selected for higher position in same organisation but the place of posting is changed. After joining the higher grade can he forego and join the previous post with in one month

Author, in which government either central or state? in general, an employee promote to higher post, he should join the new post within 30 days from the date of issue of orders.

Sir I was working as senior scientist in the grade pay of 8000 in ICAR institute at DWR, Jabalpur. I was selected as senior scientist grade pay 9000 at another ICAR institute IIVR Varanasi. I joined the post, but due to some family problem I wanted to revert back. For this I have not given technical resignation only I was relieved from the previous institute and joined this institute.The organization is governed by CCS conduct rules (central Government)

Being a scientific department, there seems to be some rules which differ from other central governments.

Normally they may not take back.

However, you have to check up with your old organization.

Regarding rule position, you can go through your service manual. However, you can put up a request to your authorities.
