Defamation

my wife has filed a defamation case against my father alledging that my father has made false accusations against her father and that in such a case her defamation is also happened. is it possible for her to file a case against my father. pls reply it is urgent. thanks

You have posted that:

She has already filed the case.

The onus to prove is on her.

You have the right to defend.

Obtain the documents from court and defend thru an able lawyer.

Your post is inconclusive.We do not know whether "defamation" case is a civil suit of criminal complaint?Moreover you say it is on the basis of ' false accusation'?What does it mean? Whether there was a case before any court or false accusation referred by you are made in public etc etc?Pls be meticulous.If you want real legal advice don't conceal things/facts.
