Kindly inform me the present minimum qualification for a lecturer post under Kerala University as per rules.
Expecting your valuable advice,

Mr. Narayanan,

The SC has nowhere given any judgment to make the NET compulsory. SC in its judgment, dated, September 19, 2013, has simply left the matter at the discretion of the UGC by holding that "the Courts shall keep their hands off since those issues fall within the domain of the experts."

So, only UGC is the sole deciding authority on the issue raised by you. So, better check with the UGC to get details through RTI.

For more details, you may also like to refer to UGC site about the NET at the following web page:
http://www.ugc.ac.in/net/scope.aspx

Agreed with Shri P.S.Dhingra.

The Univ. shall follow UGC.

The college shall have to adhere to guidelines issued by Unic. with which it is affiliated.

You may check the guidelines and you will get the answer.

The Teacher's Forums/Associations maintain well nourished blogs and can also provide you with information and support.
