Concern with nhb (national housing bank)

(Querist) 06 November 2014 This query is : Resolved
Dear Sir,

In recent past I had problem with Dewan housing finance limited(DHFL) regarding partial repayment of housing loan. I have complained to National Housing Bank (NHB) on it. Its almost 15 days but no response from them.
Could you please let me know whom should I approach on this as NHB as not responded till now.

Dear Barman Sir,

On 17th Oct I have sent an email to DHFL local office (Keeping head office in CC) asking them to let me know when can I make repayment this month as we have diwali holidays lined up. But they have not responded. Even on 19th oct I have sent remainder email looping both local and head offices but they have not responded till 28th. And they told that their branch office network got spoiled because of which they could not respond. I asked them the reason why their head office did not responded to me. They did not answer it.

Finally they gave me option to repay amount by 29th afternoon 3PM through online NEFT transfer. But as I am in office(I did not expect to make online payment for this) I could not make full payment as I wished.

Now I have bear interest for the remaining amount. Even though I have money with me in my bank account of SBI I could not make NEFT payment to them as they asked me to make only one consolidated payment. In that less time I could not consolidate funds to one account. Usually if we visit branch they take 2 cheques.

Now I asked DHFL to waive of interest for 1 lakh amount as it is their mistake to not to respond to me for almost 12 days.

They are telling apologies to me in email but not ready to help me on interest waive off...And also when I asked them to reimburse ne NEFT charges they are not doing it.

Now please guide me on this how to go further.

You sent PM, i replied therein.

The apology sent by them is sufficient for you to get the waiver.

Escalate to MD and keep RBI/your lawyer in loop it being housing loan provider/NBFC.
