Hello Kumar,
As you have quoted "DV Act" is The Protection of Women From Domestic Violence Act, 2005. In this context can you say the child can fall in the catagory of "WOMEN" to invoke the provisions of the Act?

A child's maintenance amount also can be claimed in the DV act.

I got it Sir. But, Recently in 2014 judgement, one of HC (i think Mumbai or Delhi) said, Child need to be added as petitioner in DV act case ,to get child's maintenance. I have missed to collect the judgement by that time. I am searching now and also asking experts help for this.
Advocate. Arunagiri (Expert) 18 July 2014
In DV Act the affected wife alone can be the petitioner.

For the maintenance of the child, they have to file a separate case.
