Delay in handing possesion of flat by builder

What are the chances for winning if I file a case in Consumer Court against a Builder for Delaying the Project by One and Half year and Again delaying in Handing over Possession by 30 days after taking full and final payment

Dear Pravin,

Winning a case is always depending upon proof of evidence both oral and documentary. Looking into the facts that you have narrated, you can approach the Consumer Court by issuing a Notice to the Builder.

agreement must be containing clause as to effects of delivery in possession . read said clause carefully . if delay is due to force majeure conditions builder wont be liable . contact a local lawyer
