Yes. It is definitely required therein because it is a matter of execution of mortgage.

Yes it is necessary. Please find your local District Sub-Registrar Office. It is also called District Collector Office.

i agree with all my Ld. friends.

POA is an important document and for every act to be performed under POA is supposed to have legal implications.

and it is compulsory to get it registered.

mortgage deed has wide legal implications.

registering POA is a simple and very less cost effective, so many people neglect when ever litigation arises on the POA, the LAW favors the other side, says my Advocate drafted but not registered, Registration is your responsibility not the Advocate who drafted...

If POA is executed in favour of the blood relations then registration is not necessary. if it is exeucted in favour of 3rd person other than family members regn., is mandatory.
