Bond transfer

(Querist) 24 November 2013 This query is : Resolved 
I worked in union bank of india as a PO where there is a bond amount of Rs.2 Lakhs for a period of three years.I got selected in Bank of baroda in SCALE-II through IBPS where there is no bond.To join in Bank of Baroda I paid an amount of Rs.2 lakhs to Union bank and got relieved.I came to know that there is a bond tranfer in PSUs.Is it applicable when there is no bond in another PSU where I joined?If it is applicable is there any way to get my amount back in this case. Please help me.

The bond transfer is possible only when there are bonds in both the institutions. Otherwise not.
