Regarding house loan

i have a troubled marriage.but till now have no court cases or anything.i live with my parents in a house owned by my father(not ancestral).
it is a old house and i want to rebuild(reconstruct) it by taking a house loan from the bank.
my father is a retired govt. employee.
i want to take a house loan and repay it from my salary.there is no change of ownership. only the loan will be payed by me.
if she goes to the court will she have any share in the property(house)owned by my father.
what are the legal issues related to it.kindly advice.

bank will give you a loan only if property is standing in your name . as on date property is standing in your father name . hence bank may not sanction any loan .

marriage Amendnment bill has only been passed by Rajya sabha and not by the Lok sabha . your wife as on date cannot claim any share in property owned by your father

Till now she has no share in the property even if you rebuild it.
It would be the discretion of the Ban whether to sanction loan or not which seems unlikely.

Your father is a retired Govt. servant and property is in his name, it is doubted bank will sanction loan on your name. She can not claim share in your fathers property.
