Transfer petition (section 25 of the ccp)

Dear Sir,

My ex-wife filed a transfer petiton in the Supreme court to transfer the child custody case from Chennai to Bangalore district court. The case is posted today (2nd Sep 2013), but when i called my lawyer (Advocate on record), he said the case was not listed today and he requested me to contact after 2 weeks. What shall be the next course of action ? any reason why the case was not listed for hearing ?

Dear Sir, Thanks for your quick response. I checked with my lawyer but he told that he also not aware and he will check with supreme court registrar to get it listed.

I will agree with Mr Nanda and will add that this question be better raised in astrological forum because no expert of this forum will tranvel to Delhi and see the details from Supreme Court registry without any details of the case.

Dear Sir, i raised this question since I thought the advocates might have encountered similar instances.
Today I checked the status of my case in the SC website and it got posted to 16-Sep. Thank you.
