Land to be transferred in the family

I have a land which I want to transfer to another member in my family with everyone's consent. I am a farmer and I understand that after transferring the property I can still be a farmer for 3 yrs as per ganot act 102003/977. Is this true and do I need to buy another land so that I can still be a farmer. within how much time do I need to buy the land. can you plz help with the ganot act 102003/977 dt. 29/3/2005 documents.

It is true but you need tp further purchase agricultural land within 3 yars of such sale for the continuation of the same status.
