ME AND MY FRIEND WANTS TO GET MARRIED BUT GIRL FATHER IS NOT READY FOR IT AS I AM A BRAHMAN AND GIRL IS SRIVASTAVA.NOW SITUTATION IS THAT GIRLS FATHER HAS TAKEN THE GIRL BACK TO LUCKNOW FROM NOIDA AND HE IS NOT ALLOWING THE GIRL TO MOVE OUT OF THE HOUSE.GIRL FATHER HAS ALSO TAKEN HER MOBILE LAPTOP AND EVERY MEANS OF COMMUNICATION FROM WHICH SHE CAN CONTACT ME.I GOT A CALL FROM HER LAST MONDAY FROM A LOCAL PCO OF LUCKNOW SHE WAS CRYING AND UPDATED ME THE SCENE WHICH I HAVE DISCLOSED IN THE BEGINNING OF THIS QUERY.SHE ALSO SAID THAT SHE IS BEEN BEATEN EVERY DAY BY HER DADA AND BROTHER.WE LUV EACH OTHER WANT TO GET MARRIED PLEASE UPDATE WHAT TO DO .MY FAMILY MEMBERS APPROACHED GIRL FATHER BUT HE REFUSED TO TALK ON THIS MATTER.......PLEASE UPDATE WAT TO DO

File a writ of habeas corpus in High court only when you are sure the Girl shall speak in your favor.

THAT IS REMEDY NOT A FUN!

YOU SHALL ASK THE THE HIGH COURT THAT YOUR FIANCEE WHO WISHES TO MARRY YOU HAS BEEN WRONGFULLY CONFINED BY PARENTS AND BEING TORTURED NOT TO MARRY YOU BECAUSE YOU ARE BRAHMAN AND SHE IS SHRIVASTAVA,the court shall mandate her parents to let her be produced before the court and shall record her statement if she wants to live with you,in case she says yes,the court shall let her free to go with you then you can marry her,the way you want.

thanks for the reply sir but just wanted to know one more thing this can only be asked in high court not in district court .and my home town is bareilly and girl home town is lucknow so where can i file the case.

I suppose both are in jurisdiction of High Court Lucknow Bench.In case you are Alld jurisdiction better to file in Alld.Jurisdiction.A civil court has no jurisdiction of writs.
However a criminal case of wrongful confinement can be lodged with police but
as society as well as police would favor parents,little hope lies there.
