Statements given by my bhabhi, her relatives makes prima facie 498a.

What if our relatives, neighbors give statements against them? Will that not create doubt in the mind of judge that FIR is false?

What is the value of both sides relatives statements? Relatives always favor their own relatives.

It all depends upon the actual evidence brought on record during the trial.

Prima-facie the statements of the prosecution shall be relied upon but while trial the statements from your side shall also be duly considered.
