Regarding seperation from husband

(Querist) 09 June 2013 This query is : Resolved
sir,
My sister has got married 10 yrs ago but she has not been given yet status in family which she deserves. she has no issue. Her husband beated her several times. Her alongwith her family always make different practices resulting mental torture. Their behaviour & statements shows they did not like more stay of my sister with them. My sister tolerate at the level she can but after 10 yrs she also decided to not continue with such relation where no body care her and we also supported her decision. Now she come with us without saying about her view. Now we want to know what steps should be taken further by us. she also wants to take her 'STRIDHAN i.e ornamnents' but she also fear that they can charge her that it is stolen by her. Further she also want to know she will get any thing from her husband for livelihood or not. Please guide us what steps should be taken (step wise step) so that no error can be left at this end.

if your sister not interest to stay with husband either go divorce or file Domestic violent Act, for maintenance, if your sister only expecting maintenance than file 125Crpc
if she is have children also claim in 125

Self statement is sufficient and lawyers generally know how to produce the evidence.
