contact a local alwyer . power of attorney for sale of property is required to be compulsorily regsiered . if POA was not regd then registrar would not have regd the agreement wherein your husband has purchased the said property . it is necessary to go through the documents to advise further . whether power of attorney was irrevocable coupled with interest?

Unregistered POA has no value in the eyes of law and thus cannot be used for the purchase of the property but still there are may debatable points in your query, Better to take specific service of any lawyer and discuss with him.
