Noise pollution

1. Construction activity in the vicinity, multistoreyed building work in progress.

2. They are using concrete mixer trucks & diesel generator which is creating unbearable sound in residential area.

3.Police complaints are of no use, appears they are being managed.

Query

1. Is there any special permission is required for operating search machinery as per DCR 1991.

2.Can this machinery be confisticate.

3. Any other option to stop nuisance.

In my opinion no permission is required.

File written complaint in municipal authority of ur zone.

File injunction suit in civil court to get stay order against such activities.

You should move a complaint under section 133 of Criminal procedure Code with the SDM of your area and let the administration decide and take action against the accused persons.
