For money gift whether a declaration by donor is required in addition to an affidavit?

Dear all,

I heard for money gift an affidavit would suffice the purpose? Later on one of my friend told me a declaration is also required to be supported with? I am confused? If I submit the affidavit and duly notarized it then what for the declaration? Can you please help me?

Not just with money, with all moveable properties - a delivery of possession suffices.

Affidavit would hep establish the gift.

While no declaration is compulsory, but affidavit can prove to be a formal confirmation about the gift.

In the affidavit does it require to convey that the gift is accepted by the donee?
Secondly is it required to be signed by the donor (deponent) as well as donee?
Please help?
