Facility provided by builder inappropriate-how to proceed ??

(Querist) 03 April 2012 This query is : Resolved
Sir/Madam

I have purchased a property which was registered 2 years ago.I had paid some amount before registration to builder and there after made payment full last Month.I had to make the payment last month since I recd a Legal letter from the builder for non payment of outstanding. However the construction of my property and the building is not done according to the terms of the agreement.i.e electricity connection is not provided to the place.Since the property purchased is a shop in mall, the Building construction is also not done properly. The passage in the building, sanitation facilities, fire fighting, lift and many other essential facility is not provided.
What can I do at minimum cost ?? Is it possible to file case against the builder in Consumer court?
Regards

You have every right to get the building with same specification as per your agreement. You should serve the builder with legal notice followed with consumer complaint.

This process may take some time and fee shall also be settled by the lawyer you engage.
ajay sethi (Expert) 04 April 2012
it would depend upon pednncy of cases in conmnsumer forum . /state comission etc . fees would vary from lawyer to lawyer
V R SHROFF (Expert) 05 April 2012
Yes, it is possible to file case in consumer forum. No court fees. Adv fees negotiable.

First take possession.
