Info on cross examination required

(Querist) 12 February 2012 This query is : Resolved
In a specific relief suit involving Plaintiff (private party) and one Government Department as Defendant.

The said government department(d1) has filed a wrong written statement by verifying partial records (mentioned in their WS). This has been verified by the Principal Accountant General of India.

Now that the Trial has begun, I need to know whether the Plaintiff can insist on the production of complete records(not partial as mentioned in the WS of D1) from D1 before Cross Examination starts.

By doing so this will enable me to bring the complete records to the light of the Hon'ble court and be beneficial to the case.

My query in short is can the plaintiff insist on production of complete records before D1 Cross examination of Plaintiff?

Thanks in advance.

You can pray before court to summon the desired record from the office of defendant which can be brought prior to your own evidence as desired.
