Divorce petition -draft copy

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 28 January 2012 This query is : Resolved
Hi
Could you please advice after checking the Draft Divorce Petition which we got it drafted from a Lawyer.
We requested for a very simple and plain Draft stating both party no further interest and no claim but lawyer says we need to mention something while filing a petition. He has repeated same points.
Both parties wants to get divorce with least headache and ready to cooperate in every manner.
Can't we just mention since both parties are not able to adjust with each other and not comfortable in taking their relationship any further.
Please advice on draft wordings which is very simple.
Thank you

Dear Querist
Your petition is for divorce by Mutual Consent, it is depend on your terms and condition of mutual agreement if any between you and youe spouse.
feel free to call

Your points are proper. Your lawyer should act as per your direction. There is no requirement of any hard and fast rules/terms to be mentioned in the petition especially when both parties have full faith in each other and they both are cooperating with each other.

Agreed with both experts.
