Power of attorney

Sir, I have already asked this question but still have some confusion. Our society situated in Mumbai have give Power of attorney to developer who has already constructed the building & now we are living in same. But now developer is not ready to return Power of Attorney. People who signed the same, few of them are with developer & are not helping to close this POA. Please help me to understand the procedure to close this POA without help of few members of society. We the currently managing committee wants to close the POA with immediate effect. Please help me on same at your earliest.

What do you mean by ' return of POA'?
If the POA had been executed for a specific object only, after the completion of that object the agent can not rely uypon the same for other things.
Still to avoid any future complications the Society can revoke the POA in the same manner in which it was executed.

If the society has stood legally registered and recognized by registrar then to Revoke the GPA call a meeting of the general body with due agenda notice to all members and pass a resolution by majority and accordingly revoke the POA by registering revocation, if POA given is registered one,if not,in ordinary way,and get the fact published in news paper of wide circulation.

Actually, there is no need to return poa. It seems that after purpose of poa achieved, there is no value. If you post content of poa, further guidance could be given.

The POA can be terminated by a notice to the builder. For this the society has to pass a resolution for cancelling the builder agreement.
