It is a common anscestral land, you can start forming it right now, by making your sons and grandsons equal partners in your wealth.

One cannot make it by doing anything rather this is a process vide which a person dies intestate and same is also done with respect to coming generations and third generation if get the same property then it shall attract the status of ancestral property say pathpedi or pathsantha.
