Complaint for bribe

I AM HARRASED BY ONE OF THE GOVERMENT EMPLOYEE OF INDIRECT TAX DEPARTMENT THAT IN CASE I DONT PAY HIM BRIBE HE WOULD GET ME IN TROUBLE AND WOULD CAUSE HASSEL IN MY BUSSINESS ..BY CREATING UNNECCESARY TROUBLE...I HAVE NOT DONE ANYTHING WRONG AND I DONT WANT TO PAY HIM BRIBE.I HAVE SOME EVIDENCE AGAINST HIM OF RECORDING AND WANT TO TAKE ACTION AGAINST HIM BY MAKING HIS COMPLAINT...KINDLY SUGGEST ME HOW COULD I TAKE ACTION AGAINST HIM BEFORE HE CAUSE ANY UNNECCESARY LOSS TO ME.

make a complaint to the central vigilance commissioner.

details of such authorities are put on notice board of almost all central govt offices.

You can do it, but think it over, should you do it?

Will it benefit you?
Your objective is to profit out of your business or improvise the Society at large, at the cost of your time and court proceedings?

Choice is Yours.
I do not want to discourage, but Witnesses turn around, in years of Court Proceedings, and the Complainant repent having done so.
Anti- corruption branch prepare a water tight case, but later Complainant is compelled to change his statement, he cannot withstand cross examination, and get trouble of false evidence etc. These are going on in Court of Law.Even water Tight cases do not penalise.

If there were no corruption, why Anna Hazare to agitate against all?

Think it over, and as I said, Choice is yours.
I SUGGEST, GO TO HIS OFFICE, TALK TO HIS BOSS, WITH REQUEST TO STOP ALL THESE BRIBE DEMANDS.

True is the legal way shown and also true is the tool given here to decide about whether to shoot on or not.

Also, in almost all offices it is listed where to complain when someone asks for the bribe.

Sometimes you are just venting out when you actually don't want to complain.

Greed and fear go hand in hand. If done no wrong no body can harass you. No smoke without fire. May be some rat is your affairs is smelling so the person is troubling you.

First make your house in order and than need not bother, show the door the person will run away without much fuss.

You can approach to anti-corruption cell of Police of your city or the CBI branch, if located nearby. They will guide you how to nab such a corrupt person on the spot.

Any complaint to CVC may not bring fruit, as the case is remitted to the concerned department for investigation and such corrupt officials, if share their income with their bosses, can be made to let go scot free inviting more trouble for you by the same fellow as well as his other accomplices.
