Please is there anybody who can help me out by the procedure of notary, I want to apply for notary.

Notaries Act 1952
3. Power to appoint Notaries –
The Central Government, for the whole or any part of India, and any such State Government, for the whole or any part of State, may appoint as notaries , any legal practitioners or other persons who possess such qualifications as may be prescribed
You shold have necessary qualification ( 10 years practice ) to be appointed as Notary Public and as per the demand of Loacal Area where you are praticing

Qualifications for appointment as a notary
No person shall be eligible for appointment as a notary unless on the date of the application for such appointment-
(a) a person had been practicing at least for ten years, or
(aa)a person belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes and other backward classes had been practicing at least for seven years, or
(ab) a woman who had been practicing at least for seven years, as a legal practitioner, or
(b) he had been a member of the Indian Legal Services under the
Central Government, or
(c) he had been at least for ten years,-
(i) a member of Judicial Service; or
(ii) held an office under the Central Government or a State Government requiring special knowledge of law after enrolment as an
advocate; or
(iii) held an office in the department of Judge Advocate General or in the legal department of the armed forces.)

Thank you sir,I have 10yrs of pratice from mumbai but i m not getting the link, i have visites to governemnt website but still no such .. sir can u help me out in this

to become a notary is difficult . keep an eye on advertisments released inviting applications for being a notary .

It is advertised by central/state Government separately from time to time.Then recommendations are sought from District Judge through District Magistrate who make panel of nominees and then it is forwarded to the government concerned,then there ministry of law takes the final decision.These days these things have gone too much political then it is not your qualification as per Act
would count as much as would count how much rapport you have with ruling party.
May be you are interested but if you can create so much rapport then i advise you to
try for a public prosecutor which may prove a better bet for you comparing a notary.
