Grant of annual increment on superannuation.

(Querist) 02 November 2011 This query is : Resolved
I get my annual increment on 1st April every year. I am retiring on 31st March 2012. I am entitled to get the annual increment and then retire as I have already put in 12 months service after grant of last increment a year ago. If there is any govt. notification, law ministry order or any judgement on this issue. This will help me in getting an increment and other related benefits on the date of superannuation. Thanks and regards for your guidance and assistance.
Warm regards

Annual increment means increase in salary for coming year after successful completion of previous year. As you previous year shall end on 31 March 2012 and coincidentally, you have to get retirement on the same day so despite of completion of 12 years of previous year, no benefit of further increment is available to you.

Grant of Annual Increment ceases with superannuation.
