Sec 299 and sec 300 of i.p.c

pls experts define these section sec 299 and sec 300 of i.p.c i have more confusion in these section ?

The simple difference in two sections is the adoption of methods, intention to cause death or cause injury, but not resording directly to murder; and the other section denotes an ACT of murder.

Section 299 is the preliminary stage of adopting the means & methods to cause death of some one, while section 300 denotes the subsequent stage in which death actually happens on account of adopting those means and methods.

You can see the exceptions below sec.300, which instances of culpable homicide are not treated as the act of murder.
