Notice period compensation

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 15 September 2011 This query is : Resolved 
If there is notice period of 30 days as per Company Norms & empoyees gives a notice period of 30 days as per norms of the company & company relieve the employee after 20 days but employee is ready to work for remaining period of notice period so whehter company will pay for balance 10 days as compensation or not . If yes so kinldy give reference of cases held with judgements.

The company can relieve you any time during your notice period, as may be feasible to the company. The compliance of condition is required on the part of the party who gives notice.

Thank all of you who confirmed that employer should give compensation to employee if employees is relieved before notice period by employer.
Some people are not aware about this.
