Dear sir,

In the matter of Divorce u/s 13, cruelty, desertion and psychopath.

q. if husband lost entire professional career and due to the situation created by wife and her family husband faced severe economic problem, court also agreed upon, but maintenance granted, may i know the reason on what ground court has granted maintenance to such wife who held responsible for the detoriation of mental and economical state of the husband?

q. in a marriage of 4-yrs , desertion of 4-yrs, why court not held marriage is null and void.

my lawyer is saying something else and court order is something else.

1. husband liable to pay maintenance to the wife if not having amount or unable to provide he will face prison in some situation
2. did you prove it last 4 years deserted

Marriage would be treated null and void only when the allegations made in it are proved. Simply by filing petition you cannot assume that it would get null and void. Law will take its own recourse.

You are yet to prove your case and legally you are also liable to pay maintenance under the law subject to conditions. I think she may have got interim maintenance at this stage. Rest can be commented on seeing the orders.

I can understand your mental state at this stage and reaction accordingly but unfortunately law is not with you rather it supports females though she may have ruined her husband and his family.

Accept what can you do within your limits and then completely surrender to the mercy of court as you have no alternates.
