Pf Calculation-EDLI

Dear Experts,

In PF Calculation what is th benifit of EDLI(Employee Deposited Link Insurance scheme)

Is there any alternate of EDLI like LIC or something else.

How the EDLI calculated.

The benefit of EDLI is that the subscriber is covered under an insurance scheme maintained under EPF & MP Act, 1952 and schemes framed thereunder and there is no any alternate to this beneficial provision. It is calculated on the basis of wages.
