cheque dishonour with remarks insufficent funds or a/c close

Sir,
Someone person has filed suit upon me with a debt liability of Rs.2lac against cash loan. Whereas I have not received any cash amount from nor signed agreement. He is misusing my old blank cheque.

Agree, if he fails to prove the debt he cant be succeed.

Signed instrument becomes the liability of the drawer of the cheque in favour of the drawee under sec.31 of the Negotiable Instrument Act. However, you will have the opportunity to prove that nothing is due to him.
