RTI

(Querist) 18 April 2011 This query is : Resolved
Good Afternoon Sir

According to RTI act thr is 30 days to submit the information to the person.
Now if the information is not given to us within 30 days, thn wht is the legal action we can take.
If the information is incomplete, thn can v take the same legal action against that person.
Can we file a case under IPC section before the Magistrate court.
We had already paid the fee to inspect our documents. so after 30 days can v inspect our documents at the interest of our time..or thr is a particular time limit that v have to inspect the documents within these many days.
Thr is no PIO in that medical institution, hence V had sent the application claiming for documents to the Director of that Institution
Finally if v have to take any other person with us to read the documents , since it is not in English. Is thr any procedure for it
Thank you sir

yes you can make a appeal to the appellate authority in this regard and the same action will be taken in the both cases and if the answer is not given in that case you can make further appeal to the higher authority also to the state commission.
no you can not take the action under IPC in this regard

If information demanded is not complete you can file appeal before appellate court. IPC is not applicable on RTI act. And you can inspect documents in office hours only, not on the time of your conveyance. You can demand Photocopy of documents.
