Hi,
Wife working and earning approximately 70% as I am earning.
She is not living with me for past few months.
Now she says that she left the job and had filed DV and get a huge maintainance from me.

Is it possible that she get maintenance as she is also well educated. She left the job just to get maintenance or harass me.

yes, she can claim maintenance from husband, the husband must give at the time of non-employee wife,even she is working in any pvt ltd or GOVT, you only proved she is working, so you must give maintenance.

Though a woman is entilted to get maintainance from her husband but, if husband proves it that wife is able to maintain herself she may not get any maintainance from her husband.

collect the data where she was working and put all in the court and establish that with melafide intention she left her job.
