You can recover your principal along with the interest permitted by the court. You should have entered a sale agreement.
R.Ramachandran (Expert) 27 March 2011
Without disclosing the names of the borrower and the lender, please post the complete contents of the Promissory Note to see whether what you understand and claim to be promissory note, is in reality a promissory note or not. I have a basic doubt about that.
Devajyoti Barman (Expert) 27 March 2011
Yes, every note may not be considered a promissory note.

If you cannot provide the complete details (contents) of the Promissory Note, you will get only round about answers instead of appropriate answers.
The Choice is yours.
Sri Vijayan.A (Expert) 28 March 2011
Please provide full details, as Mr.RR advocated.
Then you may get all sorts of advices.
You may get chance to recover money or the land, all it depends on the contents of the note.
So furnish full details/ type the matter what is written in the so-called pronote.

Good Evening sir now today she called and said she will register the land but im confident she has already taken advance from somebody, As a memeber of her family will update me detail movement of her to me on time and the buyer had also called me and requested that he will give after a month, Now i dont want that land as she may have done any agrement and she may register a piece of land to me and one day it have a litigation so finally i decieded not to go for land and i will go for money so can i use the blank cheque and get my money with intrest ? shall i include the intrest and fill the cheque ?
