Jurisdiction for civil suit/partition suit

I filed a civil suit for partition against my brother at Hisar where a shop (Joint undivided property) was situated,later on my brother filed a counter claim along with his written statement seeking partition of undivided properties situated at Rohtak,is it permissible,that a joint property is situated at Rohtak and counter claim in a suit is filed at Hisar.Kindly explain this point.Thanks

Yes, it can be filed.

Yes he can ask partition in the property situated at Rohtak in the case filed by you.

In partition suit, suit can be filed at any place where even one property situate
