Procedure of filing an FIR through registered AD

Could some one please elaborate the step by step Procedure of filing an FIR through registered AD, for instance if I need to file it at the police station of Green Park what do I need to do?

Simply write own the incident on paper and send through registered post with Ad card, to SHO of concerned police station. It would be better to send it to SSP and to mention why, you are unable to reach to police station.

Throguh registered post the complaints are hardly registered as FIR and as the name suggests you have to send the complaint through registered post. As the police is unlikely to register the same as FIR u=you have to approach the Magistrate u/s156(3) crpc.

You can send the complaint by RPAD. After sending the RPAD, go to the police station personaly and meet the concerned officer.
