GPA requires stamp duty ??

(Querist) 03 January 2011 This query is : Resolved 
Dear Sir. Mam
I want to know if there are two ppl A
(WIFE) & B(HUSBAND)
A sell property to x and at the same tiem B gives GPA to Y( X & Y are husband wife)
Y is dead now.
Does B is required to give fresh GPA TO x??/
Does X has to pay the stamp duty again ??
Plzz Help

If the executant of GPA died then such GPA executed will be of no value. B has to execute the new GPA

The legal heirs of y has also give a fresh GPA along with X.
nominal fixed stamp duty applicable as per stamp act.
